Programs - Pump Program
There are two types of Pump Programs that can be written:
- 1) a program that moves water from one place to the next
- i.e. from a river / borehole to a dam
- 2) a program that only lists a pump with no runtimes etc. to be used in conjunction with a Valve Program
For the purpose of this document, the items marked with * will be applicable for option 2:
Program Details
- A: *Enter a Name for the Pump Program
- B: *Select the relevant Station from the dropdown list
- C: *Select the relevant Pump from the dropdown list
- D: Enter the Runtime (minutes) / duration that the pump program must run
- E: N/A

- G: Enter the duration of time to pass before the pump starts after being told to start
- H: Enter the time in seconds that the pump must stop before the Runtime is finished
- I: Enter the min Start Pressure (Bar)
- J: Enter the pressure (Bar) to stop the Bleed
Sensor Details
- A: Select the relevant Control Valve from the dropdown list (only if there is one, leave as “Not Set” if there is no Control Valve)
- B: Enter a Delay (seconds) before the Control Valve opens after the start of the pump
- C: Select the relevant Current Sensor from the dropdown list
- D: Select the relevant Pressure Sensor from the dropdown list
- E: Select the relevant Flow Rate Sensor from the dropdown list
- F: Select the relevant Trip Sensor from the dropdown list
- G: Select the relevant Temperature Sensor from the dropdown list
Scheduling
- A: Select a Date & Time
- B: Enter in hours the duration of time to pass before the program is repeated
- C: Enter Date & Time for schedule to wait before starting
- D: Select the relevant Ruraflex Stages
- E: Select the relevant Ruraflex Stages
- F: To set a regular schedule, tick this box, this will open more settings for scheduling
As described below
- A: Provision has been made to enter up to 4 different Times per day
- B: Tick the Days of the Week that the program must run on
Alarms
- A: Enter the duration of time allowed to pass for the program to be out of specification before the alarm is triggered
- B: Enter the Min Amps of the pump motor
- C: Enter the Max Amps of the pump motor
- D: Enter the Min Pressure (Bar) of the pump
- E: Enter the Max Pressure (Bar) of the pump
- F: Enter the Min Flow Rate (m3/h)
- G: Enter the Max Flow Rate (m3/h)
- H: Enter the Number of Automatic Restarts Allowed if pump fails to start on the first try before the alarm is triggered
- I: Enter the duration of time that must pass if the pump pails to start before it tries to start again
- J: Enter the Max Temperature that the motor may run at
